The year 2014 was a busy one for Centura Tile, having introduced several exciting new products at our flooring showrooms in Toronto and all across Canada; a visit to any of these showrooms will reveal many options for new flooring in your home. Here are just some of the options now available.
UltraCeramic Luxury Vinyl Tiles
We were proud to add this premium line of luxury vinyl tiles to our selection of floor tiles in 2014. These 18" x 18" tiles are ideally suited to homeowners looking to improve the look of their flooring and can mimic many different types of stone, including vinyl. They're a welcome addition to our showroom since they mimic the look of ceramic tile while being easy to maintain. Though UltraCeramic tiles are perfectly suited for the kitchen, their versatility and durability means they can be applied to any room in your home.
Chez Moi Wall Tiles
Another new addition to our flooring showrooms across Canada is Chez Moi's line of wall tile. These Mediterranean-inspired tiles come in six colours in three shades and can be customized to fit any living space. These versatile tiles will bring a sense of character to your home and help you to stand out from your neighbours.
Privilege Wall Tiles
The year 2014 also saw us introduce this line of wall tile at our showrooms. Taking a cue from the ancient Egyptians, Privilege uses high definition photography to impose minerals and other gems on surfaces. In addition to beautiful wall decor, these tiles are also great for countertops, tabletops, and more! This Italian-made line is an affordable alternative to wall tiles made from actual minerals and gems by mimicking the look of the materials.
Jacaranda Flooring Tiles
These Brazilian-made floor tiles are a welcome addition to our showroom. These quality porcelain tiles recreate the rustic look of aged wood, a popular trend for residential tiles. They have many advantages over wood tiles, the biggest being that they are much easier to maintain than wood flooring.
Hexatile and Octagon Floor Tiles
We were also proud to introduce this Spanish-made line of tiles from Equipe Ceramics SL. to our showroom last year. This style of floor tile provides unique patterns for bathrooms, kitchens, sunrooms, and any number of other areas in your home. They can be used to create a wide range of looks, from subtle and classic to eye-catching and full of character, depending on the colours and design you choose.
Trends for 2015
Centura Tile saw a number of trends take hold during 2014 that will doubtlessly carry over into the new year. For starters, they say that "everything old is new again," and that is especially true about the new retro trend in floor and wall tiles. The popularity of do-it-yourself shows on TV has also lead to an unprecedented attention to detail from customers when it comes to installing new tiles; that means they often know what they want when they visit our tile showroom. Large format and mismatched tiles are other trends that have grown in popularity, as has the desire for the flooring in the home to stand out.
If installing new tiles is one of your goals in 2015, visit one of Centura Tile’s floor and wall tile showrooms in Toronto or throughout Canada to find out more about the quality floor tiles we offer from UltraCeramic, Jacaranda, and Chez Moi, with more new lines being added in the coming year.
