Toronto, Canada, May 16, 2016 – Centura Tile (www.Centura.ca), North America's premier distributor of both residential and commercial floor and wall fashions, is announcing the release of the spring edition of Centura Magazine.
"There is a very big difference between seeing a tile in a Centura showroom and seeing it 'in the wild,' so to speak," says Ross Keltie, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Centura Tile. "One of the purposes of the magazine is to give consumers a chance to see how different tiles might look when part of a housing landscape, in natural lighting, and alongside other elements that are hard to replicate in a store."
The magazine features large, full-colour photographs of homes and yards as well as commercial projects completed in collaboration with architectural designers so that readers get a full, up-close look at the tile in action. Centura is always striving to bring the newest and best offerings to the consumer, and the magazine is an opportunity to present and highlight these collections. A main feature in the spring edition is the new “EVO_2/E” ultra durable collection of 20-30mm thick porcelain stoneware slabs by Mirage.
"It is a technologically impressive tile particularly suited for outdoor and exterior applications," Keltie notes. "The slabs are made by taking a collection of a raw material, like sand, quartz, feldspars and clays, and firing and compressing it into a fused, singular object. The result is an extremely tough and durable tile with almost no absorption to speak of and unmatchable mechanical characteristics."
Other features in the spring edition include the genuine grass-like Natur Landscaping turf, Coverlam laminated thin porcelain tile, new artisan porcelain tile collections from 41Zero42, and Forbo commercial resilient flooring, among others.
The full edition of Centura Magazine can be obtained digitally from the Centura Tile web site at www.Centura.ca.
